A strategist, a storyteller, and a snack enthusiast walk into a bookstore. (It’s me. I’m all three.)

Once I discovered I could use my five-year-old chicken-scratch handwriting to make up new realities, I was hooked. My deep passion for storytelling carried all the way through my English studies at university, where I learned the foundational building blocks that paved the way to turning my lifelong love into a career. Almost fresh out of college, I interned at the Stoke Group, where I realized quickly I had been thrown into the fast-paced, high-demand world of B2B marketing: a skydive without a parachute after spending the last several years studying Wordsworth’s daffodils, presenting for 20 minutes about snow in James Joyce’s “Dubliners,” or engaging in deep discussions about if Shakespeare was one person or five. 

I learned fast — and was hired as an editorial assistant and writer at Stoke after my internship, refining my content development and strategy skills and teaching myself the ins and outs of both B2B and B2C marketing. 

Next, I hopped aboard Astro Studios as their first and only copywriter, and was met with a wholly different realm from what I had been used to. KPI’s and ROI’s disappeared before my eyes, and I found myself learning branding, weaving words into mission statements, attributes, taglines, and names. It was thrilling to wield my passion to breathe life into those brands, building them from the ground up and seeing the excitement in our clients’ faces. I continued to develop my expertise in branding and strategic storytelling. 

Now, most recently, I’ve been honing my leadership skills while managing SanDisk Flash division’s human and digital messaging workforce. I guide our copywriters, refine processes and frameworks, and coordinate across multiple teams — all while merging creativity with AI-powered strategies to develop compelling, consumer-centric narratives. The relationships I’ve forged along the way continue to inspire me about human resilience and brilliance, an inspiration that radiates from the copy I craft.

When I’m not click-clacking away in my workspace, you’ll find me deep in classic nerd territory: gaming, Dungeons & Dragons, and devouring book after book — usually with a side of cheese puffs or peanut butter cups. Or both.
